Carried away in Leather

Who doesn’t identify with Carrie Bradshaw? Carried away in leather. Handbags and shoes are my biggest obsession!
I can’t forget in my late teens when I was given my allowance while traveling, I spent big part of it in my first speedy LV bag. I recall the feeling of my first designer handbag, it was amazing!

The most important and high value investment you can have in your closet is leather. Leather can be incorporated through handbags, belts, clothing and shoes. A good leather piece –with proper care- can last for generations.

Remember in the early 2000’s Paris Hilton created a trend but wearing the classic Chanel bags with jeans? This trend changed the concept of age associated with luxury worn casually and to this day luxury has been mixed with street wear. This new concept of wearable and versatile luxury is here to stay.

For example: if you live in NYC and your handbag is your everyday, gym, work, and lunch bag, what do you think you need? My answer is simple, “ a tote “

The best quality of the leather is Calfskin. It can be grained or smooth and your selection will depend on your needs and wear.

My best suggestion for you is to invest in a designer handbag. I can guarantee you will not regret it! These luxury houses have master the skill of craftsmanship and high quality product designed to last (Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Dior, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Valextra, Celine, Prada, Gucci)
From my personal experience, I invested in a Chanel handbag and I have it for the past 12 years looking brand new!

I live in NYC so functionality was my main necessity. I needed quality, space and style in one and I got it! I wear it everyday for work and casually.

There are many options out there, but I suggest invest! Invest! Don’t be cheap If you want a quality product.

Remember the term ROI (Return of Investment), you have to be able to wear it everyday and have a brand behind the product when you need a little repair or touch up.

Look some examples of an easy tote and a handbag with multiple uses in one

You can incorporate leather through handbags, belts, clothing and shoes.
